Please join us at OSAP for Winter Open Studios December 9, 12-5PM. Our doors are open to you.  Meet our new, wonderful artists.  Join collage making from 2-4pm.  

Then wind your way through the many outstanding studios in the Mt Rainier Arts District , including the Washington Glass School, Orange Door Studios, Alonzo Davis and more. Also open, just up the street, is Portico, Pyramid Atlantic, Brentwood Arts Exchange.

Otis Street Arts Project will also have a new exhibition of our resident artists that include:

Studio Residency Awarded to

Paloma Vianey

Congratulations to Paloma Vianey who has been awarded a studio residency at OSAP until November 30, 2023. Thank you to everyone who applied. We enjoyed veiwing your work and learning more about you.

 

Paloma Vianeyis a Mexican artist from Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua. Growing up a few miles away from the U.S.-Mexico border, her work narrates her daily experience of crossing this political division. She also creates images of Ciudad Juárez, where she emphasizes its urban landscapes and the often overlooked buildings, aiming to provide different narratives. Through paintings, etchings, and sculptures, she explores themes of vulnerability, tension, and her desire for violence-free communities. Learn more about Paloma here.
